What are CrossFit Kids & BoxFit Kids?

CrossFit Kids combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play-‐pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit KIDS Trainers.

BoxFit Kids puts a focus on Boxing Skills and Drills coupled with fitness.

What is the objective?

Our aim is to educate children and teens about functional fitness and inspire them to pursue it. To that end, each workout is designed with varied modalities that will increase fitness levels across a broad spectrum of performance and health considerations. Children and teens have a greater opportunity (relative to adults) to maximize their physical skills when exposed to this stimulus during years of peak development.

Always functional, never boring, our CrossFit Kids program aims to work our children and teen’s body according to the way it was designed- we are training a generation to take responsibility for their health.

Do my children need to be “fit” to join?

NO. Your children need to come willing to participate, learn and have fun

Workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and scalable for any participant at any level.  As such, CrossFit Kids can equally benefit a less active person or an accomplished athlete by challenging each of them just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.
